I’ll give you the loveliest beating you’ve ever had
Tonight I am going to try and get some Halo 2 in. I should be able to do this due to the fact that Tim is going to be shitshowing it up at Cowboys and D has no interest in the giant television.
I’m hoping that I can catch a few people online, but I have no idea what my crew’s schedules are like. I have been seriously negligent in my duties to KFAS and as such I feel the need to start playing more often. Especially after I dropped all that money to set this shit up. It is however ridiculously fun and honestly the only reason I have talked to Paul since I left. That is brutal I know, but it is hard to keep in touch with folks. I am hoping I can see lots of people over Christmas because I got a pretty good long stay for a kid in the first year of his job.
Things aside from not playing enough Halo that have been bothering me include: the lack of an electronic musical device with which to listen to music obnoxiously loud on the bus, the fact that I bailed on what has so far been my only chance to go snowboarding this year, no one to go see hardcore shows with here, the cost of alcohol at most drinking establishments is not commiserate with my salary, and most of all, having to get up early just to catch the slowest bus in the world. I can see downtown from my bedroom window, yet it takes the bus ½ an hour to get there. Bloody ridiculous.
One more random thing that is bothering me, despite the greatness that is Sunday, Bloody Sunday, all U2 songs actually sound the same. It’s remarkable, and kind of off-putting. Their new song is so very generic that I am left feeling disappointed in their entire catalogue. I have no idea why.
Peace.
