You’re a smart kid, stay the hell away from us

I am currently sitting at my desk in the audit room, where generally I have a sweet view of the mountains, however today that view is obscured by a yellow haze that I have been told is smog. It is gross looking. Apparently this smog is always here, you can just see it during chinooks due to the low cloud cover that they bring. Either way I am unimpressed.

I am running out of music to listen to at work, which is odd because I have a hell of a lot more music on this hard drive than I am supposed to. Either way, I am getting sick of listening to rap, so I need some suggestions for other forms of music. I need to get on Mike’s server to get some filthy hardcore (especially for the taste of chaos tour), but some mellower stuff would be welcome. This is not a music scene I keep up with, so I’m hoping for some guidance from other music nerds.

In dorkier news, I singlehandedly (I have no idea how to actually spell that word, or if it’s a word) dragged my Halo team to a 2-3 start last night. I could blame the lack of volume on the tv (Danielle and Tim were watching The Amazing Race on the other half of the screen), but I’m sure it was mostly just sucking intensely. As such, my goals for this weekend are to go snowboarding, and play lots of Halo. I’ll do it, I swear.

Justin,
I'm coming to Calgary on Friday and I was wondering it be possible to crash at your place? If not, I'm going to talk to Kev.

Why is it easier to communicate with you on your blog than over the phone or by e-mail?

Providing I make it to the post office in time to pick up my bindings today, I will be in Louise all Saturday and probably that night too.

As such, it seems I will miss riding with you guys on Sunday, and my place probably wouldn't be the best place to crash Stern as I won't be there for most of the weekend. If you knew how to make plans in advance we could likely avoid these conflicts. Let me know if Kev's doesn't work out though and I will see what the roommates say.

Kev is going house hunting with Paiva, and will be tied up for most of saturday/sunday and I think Crystal is staying with Evan and Amy.

I just checked the road conditions, and they don't look too good. "extreme caution is advised", so I think it might be another boring weekend in Edmonton.

How about two weekends from today? Are you going to be in town then?
