On the beach I remind myself that holding hands is so powerless
I think I may have used this title before on my old blog. Whatever. This was a great weekend of accomplishing nothing, and wasting time. I had a great time both nights and Saturday afternoon, when Tim and I wandered around downtown and put off going biking for long enough that it never actually got done.
I brought a bunch of cds to work today because I was getting sick of listening to the same 200 songs over and over. This wouldn't be a big deal except I grabbed my case of all burnt cds, and I haven’t burned a cd in probably 6 months. Most of the cds I have in here go back to whenever the hell I was in Scotland and I lost all my cds in Pearson Airport. CDs I had gotten completely sick of are fucking awesome right now. I remember thinking that I would probably never listen to A Static Lullaby again (they were in my minidisc player all last year while I biked to school), but I am listening to them right now and it is awesome. I think this was all kick-started by happening across my Streetlight Manifesto cd. I was listening to that and thinking of how much it reminded me of the days when I could piss around outside all day and decide not to go to work because it was too nice out. Now I am listening to all these bands that Mike and I used to listen to on the way to track (way back when) and bands we saw live at Louis and it brings back good memories. I am now trying to figure out how I can get out of work for most of the summer. I think it wouldn’t be too hard, and I really have no need for the money. Hell I would probably be better off not working, because I spend so much money on stupid shit when I am here. I have already spent $20 on food today and it is just after lunch.
So I think I am going to plan a trip home at some point in the coming weeks. I just need to find someone to drive me, or catch a plane. I suppose I will look into the flights tonight.
Peace.
We wouldn’t need to be hooked up to these machines
I have this new digital camera and all I can think of while I am sitting at work all I can think of is how sweet it would be to take pictures of the mountains from where I am sitting. In the morning I watch the light hit the mountains as the sun rises and over the course of the day I watch the lighting change until around 5 when the sun starts to set. As a kid from Saskatchewan I am amazed every time we get a clear day and I can see the whole thing happening. The mountains seem incredibly close from here, making it all the more painful to be sitting at a desk in front of a computer all day long. I suppose I should be happy that I can at least see them from here. My next 2 jobs (all of February) have me in little rooms with no windows to the outer world. It is gonna be brutal.
The work ski day e-mail came out today, and I am pumped. We get cheap hotels and stuff, and seeing as I am missing out on spring break trips to Big White and surf camp in Costa Rica, I am going to treat this one day and night as my spring break. It will be hilarious, I guarantee it. I will do my damndest to remember that I own a camera so everyone can enjoy Evan in a heap at the bottom of a run.
If you think about this title enough it almost seems like it could be about me at work, sitting in front of a computer all day. Turns out it’s from “accidents” and I am fairly certain it is about being afraid to go to hospitals. I think I am going to buy the old alexisonfire cd at some point this week. I used to have it but I’ll be damned if I can find any of my burnt cds. I am also looking to get the Madvillain cd, something I recommend everyone else who has any vague interest in mellow hiphop do. For real.
That’s it. Peace.
I ain’t met the motherfucker who can do that yet
So there it is. I had 2 goals this weekend and accomplished neither of them. You know you suck when one of your goals is to play video games and you can’t even handle getting that done. I did manage to buy a grey and pink argyle sweater from Banana Republic, which is awesome, just not something that was necessary.
I did manage to get my bindings from eBay, and they were legit. This now means I have a setup that is just in general way too good for me. This makes me want to go riding, and hopefully I can get this accomplished in the next 4 months. Hopefully.
I have been listening to a bunch of my bands old songs lately and I do have to tell you, Alvin was a deadly song writer. I think had I been better at bass, and Dave a little more lively on drums we could have done bigger things. Oh, and if Alvin would have stopped dropping acid prior to our shows. That woud have been sweet.
Today is Robbie Burns’ day, so in honor of it I am seeking out haggis for supper and leaving you assholes with one of my favourite Burns’ poems (I was going to do MacPherson’s Farewell, but it was too long. Look it up.)
Apology For Declining An Invitation To Dine
No more of your guests, be they titled or not,
And cookery the first in the nation;
Who is proof to thy personal converse and wit,
Is proof to all other temptation.
You’re a smart kid, stay the hell away from us
I am currently sitting at my desk in the audit room, where generally I have a sweet view of the mountains, however today that view is obscured by a yellow haze that I have been told is smog. It is gross looking. Apparently this smog is always here, you can just see it during chinooks due to the low cloud cover that they bring. Either way I am unimpressed.
I am running out of music to listen to at work, which is odd because I have a hell of a lot more music on this hard drive than I am supposed to. Either way, I am getting sick of listening to rap, so I need some suggestions for other forms of music. I need to get on Mike’s server to get some filthy hardcore (especially for the taste of chaos tour), but some mellower stuff would be welcome. This is not a music scene I keep up with, so I’m hoping for some guidance from other music nerds.
In dorkier news, I singlehandedly (I have no idea how to actually spell that word, or if it’s a word) dragged my Halo team to a 2-3 start last night. I could blame the lack of volume on the tv (Danielle and Tim were watching The Amazing Race on the other half of the screen), but I’m sure it was mostly just sucking intensely. As such, my goals for this weekend are to go snowboarding, and play lots of Halo. I’ll do it, I swear.
I came to bring the pain, with no relief
Welcome to the longest blog I will ever post, also know as:
Punk Bands I Have Seen Live (semi-exhaustive listing)
Mike posted this list in it’s original form, and seeing I was at most of the shows he listed I thought I would modify it to reflect what I have seen. This is more so for myself to help me remember these shows, but if you suffer through it you will be rewarded by an intimate knowledge of bands I have seen. On with the show.
- OWC (First show I saw with mike, first show in the Animal Farm, second best show I have ever been to)
- straight faced (Second (?) show at the Animal Farm, best show I have ever been to)
- junto(?) (Great band from Saskatoon that I have seen many, many times. Saw their supposed last show with both drummers. The cocks were way out on that one)
- bigwig- dfa(8) ( I saw these guys the first time they played. Twice in the same day in fact. They opened for Diesel Boy to a crowd of approximately 7 people.)
- set aside(6) (I think I saw the first show these guys played as well. They opened for Junto and were awesome. Dave didn’t like them.)
- segment 9(2) (They had a song about killing your teacher if she was fat or sleeping with her if she was hot. No one in the punk scene liked them except for me and mike after that.)
- 400 strong (Opened for Strung Out in Regina first time we were there)
- reset (Saw these guys at Louis, I think they are now called Simple Plan, or one of those bands)
- strung out(5) (Some of the best shows I have ever been to were put on by this band, and when Jason Cruz wears his glasses you can’t tell its him. And I always thought everyone was stupid for not knowing Clark Kent was Superman)
- gob (I swear I’ve seen them but I don’t know where, someone refresh my memory)
- choke (2) (With Strung Out, and then with AFI, which was the only show I ever saw in the Upper MUB)
- chixdiggit (With Flashlight and Frenzal Rhomb in the bowl)
- green day(2) (Warped Tour 00, one of those festivals that used to hit Saskatoon. I have Tre Cool's drumstick from that show.)
- ten foot pole (Maybe this was the first show I saw with Mike. Can’t remember, but it is definitely the first show where I picked up a shirt. This was also definitely in 98)
- frenzal rhomb (In the bowl. These guys are way underrated)
- nobodys (w/ Straight Faced and 30 Foot Fall at the Animal Farm)
- 30 foot fall (see above)
- jugheads revenge (In Edmonton with the Vandals and the offspring, it barely counts because it was in a stadium, they redeemed the whole thing by playing Domino)
- the offspring (see above)
- the vandals (2) (Warped Tour and Edmonton)
- h2o (I don’t know if I ever saw these guys but I think I did, I need Mike’s help on some of this)
- flashlight (2) (Sonia Bianchi is a great fucking song, these guys deserve way more credit)
- mad caddies (2) (I think twice?)
- good riddance(4) (Saskatoon at Louie’s x2 (I think it might be 3), and the Warped Tour, and the Reading Festival in Reading, England)
- guy smiley (Canadian Hardcore my ass, these guys sucked, Louie's)
- ensign (at Louis’, these guys are the only New Jersey Hardcore band I have ever seen and they ruled. Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars is a great album)
- diesel boy (2) (This show was during some summer in high school where Mike adn I hung out at the Animal Farm lots. Favorite summer ever. They played at 3 in the afternoon for the smallest crowd ever at the Animal Farm, it was sweet, plus Jord’s sister was there and she is hot.)
- the portmans(4) (These guys were awesome. The only local band I bought cds from other than OWC)
- tubesteak (Played at the Animal Farm the night of the Diesel Boy show I think)
- grade(3) (My favourite live band ever, I sang along to songs I didn’t know the words to. They loved it here.)
- the radissons (I remember seeing them play just cos the drummer was wearing an orange toque. I don’t know where, or what show it was. Oh ya, they also played their first show ever at a show my band put on in Alvin’s backyard way back when I was in grade nine I think)
- OAAU(2) (once again I remember seeing these guys play, but that is all. No idea where or with who)
- weakerthans (Played in the Animal Farm. Absolutely destroyed)
- SNFU (Played the show where Union 13 didn’t make it across the border, and I got no Mexican hardcore. I still want my money back)
- sixty stories(3) (you should see the pics of Mike and I with the band where we were both wielding fierce teen staches. My favourite not really punk band)
- kaizen (I think these were the guys who played the song that was supposed to sound like the bomb dropping on Hiroshima)
- rotundi (saw these dudes at the pit, which was on a gravel road in the middle of the city. Scariest place ever.)
- death by stereo(2) (These guys played at Louie’s a couple times. I don’t know if I liked them or not)
- downway (2) (Downway played at Louie’s. I think it was opening for good riddance, or maybe ten foot pole)
- one stone dog (2) (these guys were never good)
- cowpie (5) (these guys were awesome. Best thing to ever come out of La Ronge)
- 13-31 (Best band that ever spontaneously combusted. They sounded like AAA)
- untimely demise(3) (I think we saw their first show too. They got good, and then disappeared)
- full meal deal(4) (I don’t remember much about these guys other than I saw them enough times that Hoover said hi to me at school)
- STA (I don’t know what this stands for, but I bet I saw them)
- chinese hardware(2) (can’t remember them, but I bet they played a couple covers)
- stricken (never heard of them but I prolly saw them)
- the goat next door (I swear we have seen them more than once, or else I wouldn’t remember the hot lead singer so vividly)
- AFI (3) (AFI is awesome, despite the fact that Davey Havoc turned into a hot goth girl. Saw them in prarie land, upper MUB, and somewher else?)
- Sick Of It All (warped tour? Maybe not, I dunno)
- wishing well (I won their cd at Sid’s Garage at what I recall was a grade show and for some reason Corey now has that cd)
- Not By Choice (opened for Blackalicious at the Prarieland)
- on deaf ears (See below)
- That hardcore band who covered either the sesame street song, or fraggle rock. They played with Sixty Stories and On Deaf Ears, I saw the show with Ash, Cousin Mike and Mandy. Someone tell me their name or my head will explode.)
- fasttrack (Maybe? They are sandwiched between two bands I have seen, so I think they might have opened for one of them)
- the getaway (I think I saw them open for Prop or someone at sid’s, I did see them, just not sure with who)
- preshure point (In the bassment with flashlight and grade, they rocked hard).
- the line (Saw them open for Yellowcard here in Calgary, only show I have been to here so far)
- rise against (3) (Opening for Strung Out at the Odeon, the next night in Regina, and the warped tour)
- snapcase (3) (With Strung Out and Rise Against, 2 nights in a row. I only know one of their songs, but they play it every time)
- voyd (Think I saw them at the Odeon, maybe I just saw their singer hanging out there)
- killing paperboy (Sounds like Reach The Sky, great screaming)
- propagandhi (At Sid’s, one of those bands I am glad I saw before I got old and became a lame fucking accountant)
- randy (Opened for Prop)
- yellowcard (3) (Warped Tour, U of C, The Pat all in a 6 month span)
- eighteen visions (Warped Tour (?), opened for strung out)
- misery signals (In regina at some church or something. Played after Undying)
- undying (see above)
- rancid (I dunno if I have seen them or not, but I seem to think I have, who knows)
- andrew w.k (2) (At the Odeon in the best stadium rock show ever, and again at Reading, although I only caught the tail end)
- Poison the well (with AFI at prarieland)
- kinison (they wear tight pants, saw them at Louie’s)
- raised fist ( I actually didn’t see them but I bought Mike his ticket, he owes me one live recording)
- a static lullaby (with Strung Out, I think some other time too, but I am unsure)
- the pinch (at Lydia’s and somewhere else I think)
- spitalfield ( I think I saw these dudes in Regina, but I’m not sure)
- alexisonfire (2) (At Louie’s twice, I love watching this band)- billy talent (with alexisonfire at Louis)
- death from above 1979 (with strung out, a static lullaby and 18 visions (?) or maybe it was with Alexisonfire, they played a song about how pulling out is great birth control)
- my chemical romance (warped tour 04)
- bouncing souls (warped tour 04, Reading Festival and punk-o-rama tour 02?)
- taking back sunday (3 songs tornado warning at the warped 04)
- story of the year (warped tour 04)
- bad religion (warped tour 04)
- nofx (warped tour x2, 00 and 04)
- sum 41 (caught half a show in regina, missed both opening bands)
- dropkick murphy’s (punk-o-rama tour at Louie’s)
- NUFAN (Reading)
- the get-up kids (Reading)
- Saves the Day (at Reading before I knew any of their songs, I’m disappointed because I like a lot of their stuff now.)
- Flogging Molly (are they already on this list? I saw them at warped 04)
- Thursday (2) (Reading and Warped 04)
- Dashboard Confessional (Reading)
- fordirelifessake (I think mike and I watched these dudes before undying)
- Belvedere (Warped 00)
- untold amounts of local bands who did not last long enough to merit a spot in my memory (like the crust band Malcolm was in who sang that song “Sandwich”, or whoever played with Junto that night they came out naked, I think it was the Halloween show).
- Metric (Warped 04 - I think I watched them, or maybe Dave did and he told me about them)
- Midtown (Reading again)
- Mighty Mighty Bosstones (That DV8 thing, and warped 00 I think)
- Letter Kills (watched them at warped waiting for Atmosphere to come on(?))
- Millencollin (warped 00, forgot about that until I looked up the lineup)
- Long Beach Dub All Stars (warped 00)
- Suicide Machines (warped 00)
- Face to Face (Reading)
- Jimmy Eat World (Reading)
- The Matches (w/ Yellowcard at the U of C)
- The Starting Line (w/Yellowcard at the U of C)
I think that list is as comprehensive as I can get it without 3rd party input. Some digging around was required for those at the end, but I think I got most of them. This actually feels good to have something like this documented. A small piece of my history is now to be preserved until google shuts this server down. Awesome.
Show me something immortal, we’ll murder it
If I ever complain about being broke again someone should slap me. After a weekend filled with ridiculous extravagance, I am once again on the ghetto train. I did however procure a poofy vest, which I think makes it all worthwhile. I was down at MEC with Mark, and we were looking for a sleeping bag for his cousin. I had been on a down jacket kick all day for some reason, and I was contemplating how awesome it would be to get a jacket made out of a sleeping bag. Lo and behold, we head upstairs, and while there are no jackets made out of the duvet down, there is a vest. I try it on, and it fucking ruled. I walked out the store much poorer, but way poofier. It was a great impulse buy.
That night the excess continued, as we headed out for supper to Joey Tomatoes for Evan’s birthday. Brehon had joined Mark and I, and we got the party started with some bourbon Mark had picked up at the cellar (greatest liquor store on earth), and some beers and wines. It was great. Joey’s got expensive when we ordered more wine and the party just kept rolling. Much money was spent, but it was all in the name of fun, so I don’t regret it. I do kinda wonder though, because I have been trying my damndest to save up for an mp3 player, a fixie and some other little things, and then I go blow a grip on supper and drinks. Something in my head doesn’t work right. Whatever. The weekend was fun, and now that it is getting nice out again, hopefully I can waste my money up in the mountains, instead of downtown. That seems far more rewarding.
Make sure all them fools have heard of me
This post is kind of cheating but I am very tired. I made a wicked playlist in iTunes today, and I thought I should share it in case anyone wants to know what kind of music is needed to not jump out a window during a 12 hour work-day.
Silly Puddy (Feat. The Grouch) – Zion 1 from Mind Over Matter
Rock Steady (Feat. Raekwon, Method Man, and U-God) – Tony Touch from The Peicemaker 2
Encore – Jay-Z from The Black Album
We Don’t Care – Kanye West from College Dropout
The Yo Yo – Little Brother from The Listening
Brand New Day – Dizzee Rascal from Boy In Da Carner
Audio Coke – DL Incognito from A Sample and a Drug Machine
Shadows of Tomorrow – Madvillain from Madvillainy
Two Word (Feat. Freeway and Mos Def) – Kanye West from The College Dropout
Spur of the Moment (Feat. DJ Quik) – Ludacris from The Red Light District
Hardcore Hustle (Feat. Wildchild) – Madvillain from Madvillainy
Revolution (B-Boy Anthem) – Zion 1 from Mind Over Matter
A Little Change – Zion 1 from Mind Over Matter
Living is Beautiful – Pep Love from Ascension
Pacific Heights – Pep Love from Ascension
That is pure feel good music.
As I was waiting to post this after supper I just found a small cache of albums on my harddrive. I am pumped because now I have new De La Soul, Nas, and Handsome Boy Modelling School to listen to. My night just got significantly better.
I study till my lungs are bloody
Evan says that my writing is profanity laced, and after checking out my last post I suppose that could be true. I just wanted to point this out publicly because it makes Evan seem like a dweeb.
On to subjects that will make me out to be a dweeb. I am unsure how many of you have met Jon (aka. Daigan), but each year he participates in a writing competition called Another 48 hours. I see this as an exercise for aspiring writers, where the writers are given a topic to write about on Friday nights and then have the weekend to put on story (poem/essay/diatribe… ) relating to that topic on paper. The writers participating in the contest then offer critiques and vote for their favourite writing each week. I suppose I am writing this down because somewhere in my head I think that I would like to do something like that (little know fact #1: I was a dominant force in Creative Writing 10, 20 and 30). I also know that I will likely not follow up on anything like this due to lack of motivation. At least now I have left myself a reminder.
Next dorky subject: Anthony Bourdain. For those of you who don’t know the name he is the guy who wrote Kitchen Confidential. For those of you who don’t know the book, just skip on past this fanboy shit. So Tony is a chef who wrote the best autobiography ever. After writing this autobiography he got all famous and decided to write another book. This book is basically a travel diary and while travelling for it he filmed a TV show with the same name as the book, “A Cook’s Tour”. This is probably my favourite TV show. This is a trainwreck of a paragraph so I am stopping now.
The new apple computer got released to day and it is hot. I want one. I’ve been slowly saving up for the new imac, but this may be a better idea. Mostly because I have almost enough cash right now and I can throw together the other parts easy enough. Things to think about indeed.
Peace.
Don’t be a loser, fucking buy my shit now
There are many things I want to accomplish this year, and I thought that by putting them up here, I might be more likely to accomplish them. I suppose the reason behind this is that I have very little confidence in my follow through. Either way, these are the things (however small) I am hoping to accomplish in 2005:
- Finish Halo 2
- Go on a trip to somewhere warm at the end of April
- Build myself a fixed gear bike (this one is appearing to be the hardest to accomplish)
- Build a miniramp in my basement
- Survive the ridiculous hours I will be working in busy season with my liver intact
- Pay down my ever-growing debt (this one appears to be going against my other plans)
- Snowboard a minimum of 10 times.
That list does not seem comprehensive in the least. Turns out my brain is crappy at thinking after a long day. Speaking of which, today was officially the start of busy season. That means mandatory 50 hour work weeks that are easily surpassed by the actual amount of work that has to be done. If today is any indication, this winter will not be the greatest. The one bright spot of the day was winning a set of Burton Cartel bindings on eBay. I ended up getting them for roughly $100 less than the normal price. I am awesome. All I need now is a weekend off.
Alright, I’m off to make my supper for tomorrow so I can claim my meal allowance and make $20, then bus home and claim a cab ride for another $15. Fuck ya.
Peace.
If you check 1, 2, my word of advice to you is just relax
Just got back from lunch, and the sub I ate got me wondering. How the hell does a foot long loaf of bread with random toppings fit in my stomach? (I am allowing this pause for the wack fat jokes that are invariably being thought up...) Seriously though, I have absolutely no background in biology as my lab partner in grade 12 was really hot and I was mighty distracted. This leads me to ask dumb questions, like how you can fit a big piece of food inside of your body? It baffles me. Some things I can understand fitting in there, like a bowl of soup, or an apple, but a foot long sub? That is crazy.
Now I rarely remember dreams but on Tuesday night I had one that was so weird I tried to remember it when I got up. Here it is, in muddled form: I am sitting at Danny Jutras' lake (a place I have never been), shaving Jeff Bourassa's head, while Vageli tells some story about a car that floats. Then Josiah Boyd (remember him?) gets mad at me for using his clippers without asking. And that is the whole dream (that I can recall). I thought it was weird enough to look up it's meaning online. According to the internet it was obvious that I was on drugs. Anyways, the next day I get an e-mail from Mark Finninglay stating that he got free tickets to a bikini contest at Cowboys. I am not one to pass up opportunities such as this, so with a deep crew we roll into cowboys to witness the first of five nights worth of the Miss Hawaiian Tropics Contest. And who would contestant #13 be, but one of the girls I spent most of Halloween watching grind with another girl on the pole at Tequila (creep factor = +11). Not to mention the other 16 girls (except the one who looked like a heroin addict). Damn. Now my favourite part of all this is that I got a digital camera for Christmas, and wait for it.... I forgot to bring it. Now I will be forced to attend the finals or something to get some photo documentation for you sad sacks who couldn't come. Poor me.
That's been my week so far.
Peace.
And I watch my people bleed while vultures steady feed
Another day out at the client with absolutely nothing to do. The people here are finishing up their month end stuff which occupies too much of their time for them to help us. This situation lends itself to me catching up on crap like the latest rap beefs, strongbad e-mails, and random other crap.
Anyway, I have been searching like mad for the 05 Burton Mission bindings and have been unable to turn anything up. the kid at the Source couldn't find anything even though they had them on display and the kid at Mission told me it was impossible to get them anywhere. This chews assholes. I have even looked on eBay with no luck. I am now resorting to those shady online stores that operate out of some dudes garage. This is a sad state of affairs but I desperately want those bindings.
In other useless purchase news the other day I walked into a Banana Republic store with the intention of buying a sweater they had on sale for a decent price, and ended up walking out with a dress shirt for $100. I am useless at saving money, but this was sort of over the top. At least I think I look good in the shirt. As proof of my goodlookingness, I point to the fact that Ash determined through observation of the rest of the clientele at that store that I was the only straight guy shopping there. This must mean that I am now well-dressed. This also means that I once again broke the promise to myself to quit spending money on work clothes. I really have no reason to care how I look at work, as I work exclusively with dudes.
Onto unrelated topics, I started reading The Da Vinci Code this past weekend and I am loving it. It makes me want join a profession where I can go back to France. This is obviously how career decisions should be made. I also recently completed reading all of Bone. For those not in the know, Bone was a comic book that came out over the past 12 years, and was wrapped up in 2004. The creator then released the entire series in one gigantic book and I happened across it over the holidays. It was great. I am not trying to get Flight, but this is not working well. Once again I believe I must resort to the internet, and throw more money at Amazon. Bastards.
That’s it. Keep it right.
They just like me and you when the smoke and camera disappear
So I took a vacation these past couple weeks and it was a vacation from everything. I am still not sure if I am ready for the real world onslaught that will undoubtedly commence this week. This will not be the most entertaining period of my life, but I think I packed in enough fun over these past two weeks to grind past it.
Santa was good to me this year, so you can probably expect some photographic evidence to back up my ramblings in the near future. All wonderful shots of audit rooms, Killswitch Engage, and if it all pans out and work is not too rough, some mountain shots. Apparently Word thinks that last sentence contained poor grammar. I’m not really sure what it expects, seeing as I have been out of school for damn near a year now. Of course I am getting stupider. Hopefully the massive pile of books I received for Christmas (currently stacked in the order I plan on reading them next to my bed), will make my brain get bigger again.
I would give a detailed recap of events that have occurred over the past two weeks, however for the life of me I can’t recall any particular event well enough for a detailed description. The result is this list:
· I attended the first wedding out of my friends. I ushered.
· I ate at John’s and had a beautifully large piece of bison.
· Visited with more family than I thought I had.
· Drank at various old joints and a couple of new places (including Clavet)
· Lots of other stuff happened like video games and whatever else I did. It was fun.
As you can see I am skimpy on details, and I really have nothing to blame for this than my own inattentiveness and possibly the holiday chemical assault on my brain.
I’ll be back at work starting tomorrow, so it is likely that the post frequency will increase substantially. No longer will you be missing your daily random hip-hop quote. I know that made you all wet.
Later.
