Sons and daughters of hungry ghosts
I am currently at work doing my damndest to finish up so I can get home and pass out, but I thought I should point this out: Everyone should at some point in time invest in some good headphones and listen to Thrice’s Illusion of Safety and Wolf Parade’s Apologies to The Queen Mary really loud. If you only have 10 minutes to do this I recommend See You in the Shallows by Thrice and Dear Sons and Daughters of Hungry Ghosts by Wolf Parade. It is quite a pleasant experience. I spent a month wandering Scotland listening to that Thrice album, and a week watching it rain in Jamaica listening to that Wolf Parade album (and The Joggers). Those are definitely good memories.
Also, Dave is coming out for a week in February! That is the best news I have got in a long time. Other people are also welcome to come crash at my place. It will be a den of debauchery as Tim is gone to England to audit people with pleasant sounding accents, and I will be in the midst of a mid-busy season breakdown.
That’s it.
Peace.
