I don’t wanna have to bring the heat
An update on two things from yesterday. CASB has now confirmed that I am the worst CA student ever by sending me an e-mail informing me (in bold!) that I am falling dangerously behind. Right fucking on.
The second update is for the cds I picked up, because this is of concern to all discerning readers. I had every intention of getting the cds I listed yesterday, but walking into HMV I saw that Common’s new cd was out. Now not to give any impression of credibility to The Source, but I had heard they gave this album 5 mics, and I have never owned a Common album, so I picked that up. I was then totally thrown off my game plan, so I wandered around the store looking at random shit. I had Trivium’s Ascendancy in my hand and was on my way to get those two cds, when I spotted the new Belle & Sebastian b-side collection. It was the same price as the Trivium cd, but it was two cds long, so it won out. Trivium will still be there next time I stop by. Or I will swing through Megatunes on 17th because they might have it for less than $24. That would be sweet if they did. As for rating the cds, the Common cd is golden. It was definitely a good pick. The Belle and Sebastian is still growing on me, but I think it is because I am no longer in the mood to listen to indie. When I get back there I am thinking that cd will be spectacular.
Back to CASB. Keep it real.
