The same taste in beers, the same basic fears
I live in Kelowna now. I don’t have a real address, but I am staying here if you want to see what it looks like.
The last few days I was in Calgary were crazy trying to get everything done, but it’s been pretty chilled out here since I showed up. I`ve golfed a few nice courses, explored a few of the cities drinking establishments and spent a lot of time sitting on the dock out front drinking coffee and watching fish swim by.
I tried to look up something interesting about Kelowna to convince people to come visit me, but there honestly isn`t anything. The most interesting thing I found on the internet was that as of the 2001 census there were more people who didn`t subscribe to a religion then there were roman catholics. I thought that was weird.
I can`t even find what bands there are around here, or if there is even a music scene. This is fairly frustrating because I know I`m missing out on a bunch of shows in Calgary now. Not that I miss the city; it was noisy, traffic sucked constantly and I wasn`t feeling my job there anymore.
Actually scratch that, I just spent five minutes looking around and it turns out Jazzy Jeff is in town tonight. Fuck yeah. I`m out.
Peace.
ps - that new radiohead album is spectacular.
